Well, I've just been reflecting upon my year and how it is about to end. I have to say that The year has been so full of ups and downs I don't know weather or not I should be dizzy!
The year started off as angst-y, then in February I broke up with someone dear to me, March through around May I was really depressed and bummed. After that I started hanging out with people and going to concerts and raves. Though I have to say I kinda prefer concerts for friends, but I get hurt alot hahaha. Raves, its really fun and all, but towards the end everyone is on drugs and the experience turns ugly in my mind.....>.<
Any who, Finished another year in high-school, it was my junior year, and I went to Disneyland on the first day of summer. That was full of laughs and good moments ^_^ Then throughout the summer I started working in a restaurant and went to Vegas on an impulse trip which was also amazing. I got my ear pierced as well on the top, it was my "mother-daughter bonding" thing that just made me laugh. She was crying cause it hurt so bed for her. I didn't even flinch! ^^ I'm so proud of myself!
School started again, my final year and I don't know what to think of it. I'm taking super-easy classes, yet I'm also taking 2 honors classes, plus I'm working 3-4 days a week as well. so I have money, but lately I have been super girl-y and been spending it hahaha. I bought a car, clothes, makeup (gasp!) and just a thousand little things to have fun with ( again, concerts, Ballet plays, and random trips to Hollywood) .
My dad has changed also, He met this lady from Australia, and they've been dating and seeing each other since late February. He has stopped being sad and depressed. Changed the house, and now he has proposed to her on X-mas ^^ She is sweet and kind. But as long as my dad is happy thats all that matters really.
My dad was gone for a month in September and I couldn't stay home cause he rented his room to two guys who are just weird. A guy that I work with let me stay at his place and now I have a semi-relationship with him. Although he is a bit older .... by 4 years.... My mom knows about him and she thinks its a cute/fun relationship. My dad is oblivious. Go figure. Day after Christmas was my 18th Birthday and I got myself a belly piercing. Although it was belated cause the place I wanted to go to didn't have anyone to do it till the 28th. That made me flinch though, I didn't look at the needle but my friend Megan said it looked like a nail. o.0;;;;
Ummm, what else can I mention throughout the year... Well my ex keeps popping into my head, I keep wondering if he is alright and all that. I keep hearing he is in a fairly bad situation. I keep wanting to talk to him but I'm kinda scared to do so. If I confront him, He'll just resent me even more >.< He is the stubborn kind.
Next year I have a lot of hopeful expectations (yep, thats right, I actually expect something good to happen!) February I plan on going to Australia for my Tatiana's daughters wedding! I should be there for about two-three weeks. And In August I plan on moving to Italy for Six months to work and travel. When I come back I'm going to go to a community college, then I'm transferring to University of Washington..... Just cause I love the rain....^^ strange huh?
I have to say, This past year has changed me in alot of ways. I feel more comfortable with myself and I'm beginning to think I can do something with my life. I have goals, I'm doing what I want to do, and lately I have been so happy with life and what I'm doing with it. I feel as if things are falling into place around me for the most part. There are a handful of things I'd like to get done with before I leave for Italy, But I have confidence that I can do it.
Overall, I truly believe this year has been amazing, both the good and the bad. Each pleasant and painful memory has been a new experience it seems, and I cant help but hold it close to my heart.
